Gameday Thread: Angels vs. Orioles (5/3) -- Callaspo is back

Recommended Posts

I would prefer Kendrick in LF, Callaspo at 2B and Jimenez at 3B.

I don't think that's particularly appealing, personally. It makes the INF and OF defense weaker, for the sake of getting Jimenez's ice cold bat in the lineup.

I rather stick Shuck out there. I'm even in favor of giving him a shot batting leadoff instead of Aybar while he's playing.

I guess the way I was looking at it is I think Jimenez so far has been fantastic with the glove. I also like his energy even though he has come back down to earth. I haven't seen Shuck play enough defense to know if he is any good out there. I have seen Kendrick boot a couple balls this year at second. I don't think Callaspo would be much of a drop off if any at second.

Yeah, lately when the ball is hit in Howie's direction, I find myself cringing. Sad to say, but it's almost surprising when he comes up with one cleanly. This is the first time in his career that I don't have confidence in his fielding ability.

Please someone make the judgement call for me now. Do I stay up till 3am to watch the start of the game or go to sleep? Can't decide

Hopefully, you took the middle path and took a nap so you could be ready either for the beginning of the game or the end of it.

Living in the Mid-West, I can't stay up and watch many Angel games on the Best Coast because of work.

But it's Friday night and I have a bottle of rum, 3 Oxycontin, and a What-a-burger.

I'm ready for some Angels baseball, baby!
