If we could trade Escobar to the Giants for a reliever or SP prospect, that would be great. I heard they were in the running for Turner's services. 

Then put Marte in at 3B. What I've seen and read it looks like Marte is the better defense 3B between Escobar and Marte.

I believe if Marte got 150 games he'd hit 25-30 HR.

Nope, not yet. Don't want to rely on Maybin or Simmons as a lead-off hitter yet. Escobar will be fine if he keeps getting on base. Our defense elsewhere is strong enough now to make up for it.

so following this math to it's logical conclusion, 300 ABs = 50-60 HR, 450 ABs = 75-90 HR, and 600 ABs = 100-120 HR.

i'd be okay with that.
