Were the Angels the only team in palm springs?  Seems like a weird thing for all these other AZ teams to have to travel out to PS.

That is the major reason the team left Palm Springs. There was a lot of talk that the team wanted the city to do massive upgrades to the stadium. In the end, the team wanted to move regardless. We did have the Palm Springs Angels {now San Berdo} for a few years. Now all we have is the Palm Springs Power. Not much to get excited about.

Will the Rojas/Gubi Era be remembered as the Era in wbich the Angels started to suck & only make the playoffs once in the 2010s decade ? 

To me that's what they unfortunately will be when 10 years from now we look back at the 2010s decade of Angel teams.

On the field Luck always seemed to be on the Angels side when they were around. From clutch hitting to pitchers getting out of jams, players playing well beyond their potential etc.

With Rojas/Gubi there is a lot of bad luck, so many injuries, players declining too early like Pujols/Weaver, so many anti-clutch moments, etc.

When I played baseball, the stirrups were the coolest part of the uniform. We would add a piece of fabric at the bottom if they weren't high enough.

I truly enjoyed physically and bud. My wife and I used to watch 120 games a year. She hasn't watched one yet this year.

But to attribute any kind of on field success to those two is absurd.
