He has had several.  Walk off double.  Last night allowed the tying run to get into scoring position, 9th inning tonight.  Believe it or not he is hitting close to 300 in "late and close" at bats.

Back from the game. Here are a few random thoughts.

The Mariners had this game in hand. What killed them was they did not take advantage of their opportunities to get add on  runs late in the game.

You got about what you expected out of Tropeano. You could not see him going more than 6 innings tops, so the five innings and only two runs allowed was pretty impressive.

That triple Aoki got credit for in the third inning should have been ruled a double with an error on Nava. By the way, Calhoun, Trout and Nava have to work on communicating who is gonna take the fly balls. If it is anywhere near Trouty, let him have it.

With our team ERA of 4.18, I thought the over/under on homers for Cano this weekend would be 6.

Mariners lost the game because they stranded 12 runners.
