One of the greatest baseball voices I've ever heard. I don't care much for the Dodgers, but if I get to listen to Vin, it doesn't matter who's playing.

I appreciate the career that he's had and in particular the long run he's had with the Dodgers.  Baseball will have lost something special when he goes.  That all said.  I really don't give a shit about the Dodgers announcer.  I always find it kind of annoying when I have to listen to people slobber about how wonderful he is.  Cool, I get it. Great guy, special announcer. Wonderful.  Maybe this is all we hear about cause the Dodgers have been ass for the last 30 years.

I grew up listening to Harry Caray so quite the opposite. Vin is soothing to listen to whereas Harry was good for many laughs.

Apparently, Vin must have spit in Lou's Jarritos when he was a kid.

I met Vin a couple of times where it was just him and myself in a Dodger Stadium suite for about an hour. He is a sweetheart, a pro's pro and shockingly orange.

Credit where credit's due. The guy is a legend despite what team he announces for. Gotta admire his passion for the game after all these years. I appreciate him.
