The offense could be decent - as long as Trout is healthy and at least some of the complementary players hit well enough. If Nava and Escobar can both manage .350 OBPs, that's some nice on-base potential in front of Trout. I do think we need to see at least one of Cron, Calhoun, or the Ji-Man step up and hit for an .800+ OPS.

What do you expect him to say? I will say that it's clear Eppler was trying to bring in high contact guys, which I hope means getting back to the aggressive style of baseball, putting the ball in play, running. Don't wait for a home run to bail us out.

Have you seen this team run the bases? Why would you want more of that?
