I have a cousin who refuses to look at instructions for these sort of things. A few years ago, it was raining at a family wedding, so the designated smoking area outside needed to be covered. One of the groomsmen had been smart enough to think ahead and purchased a canopy tent. Not exactly science to assemble the thing, but still not the easiest job. My cousin pushes everybody out of the way and starts trying to put it together by himself without looking at the instructions. "Watch out. Move out of the way. You don't need to look at directions for crap like this." Cut to: 45 minutes later. He's trying to connect to top to the four main ground poles and the thing looks more like a tent on the ground than a canopy. We ended up starting over by following the instructions and assembled it in about 5 minutes. Funny stuff.

I've been snapping pics periodically. Relatively dull process thus far

Finished. It's pretty much put together correctly. Missing 6 screws tho. I think.

If I am going to climb onto something that is nothing more than a piece of rubber suspended by springs, "pretty much put together correctly" is not the phrase that I want to hear.

Trampolines are the greatest. Never got hurt on one though so maybe that's why. I once jumped off a 2 story roof, to a trampoline, into the deep end of a pool with a cannonball.

 

One of my dumb buddies has it recorded on his cell, I was pretty drunk.
