It would appear that this issue might not be as black and white (...rim shot...) as it appears on it's face. There were flyers posted around the campus prior to Halloween, asking that people avoid "cultural" based costumes. Without understanding why they chose their costumes...it certainly could give one the impression they did do it as a way to mock the people who posted the original flyer.

 

College students were a lot less annoying when their wasn't social media and viral videos.

 

 

 

 

 

Someone needs to tell this rice-eater to go back to the Great Wall of China.

I'm Mexican-American and I don't give a **** about their costume. Doesn't offend me.  Neither my grandfather, father, nor I have EVER worn a sombrero, had a huge mustache, and wore pancho and took long naps in the heat of the day.  It's a cultural stereotype, but why would making fun of that stereotype offend me? 

 

I'm glad I have some little Asian girl to tell me what should and should not be offiensive to me.  Idoit.
