Adultery Dating Site Hacked

Recommended Posts

My wife has a friend that is registered to dating sites and one day found one of her friends husband looking for love claiming he was single. That became a tricky situation of how do you tell a friend you found their husband's dating profile. Dumb woman didn't divorce him even though he had been cheating on her for decades.

Website dedicated to cheating on your spouse has 37 million users?  And people say that gay marriage is ruining the sanctity of marriage.

No, that's 37 million users of all their sites including Cougar Life and Established Men (both are not cheating sites). So it's more like 36 millions users. A lot of that number are people who paid $19 to Ashley Madison to have their entire profile deleted from their system. Ooops! I wonder how those people feel about being betrayed?

Maybe the best part in all of this is that the hack found thousands of fake accounts of females that were created by the site to lure guys in. They revealed that only 5-10% of the database were real female profiles. These guys risked getting caught over girls that didn't exist.

So the hits will probably keep on coming for Ashley Madison, if the past is any indication.

Is a website up yet with all the information?

Hacker's Ashley Madison data dump spreads havoc

A British parliamentarian whose email address was included on the list said it had been stolen and used without her knowledge, adding weight to the argument that inclusion does not necessarily implicate individuals.

Uh huh.  Sure your email address had been stolen and used without your knowledge.

Hmmm... sounds like the Religion of Peace bait and switch.
