Machado or Arenado?

Listening to the broadcasters talk about Arenado being the best defensive 3rd baseman in the game, Machado immediately came to mind. I'm not too familiar with the defensive metrics and from my understanding, they're pretty flawed anyways... so who in your opinion is the best fielder of the two?

Also, with the third base need that we have, if you were given a choice of either one, who would you take (disregarding what it would take to acquiring them)?

Considering the power he has, Arenado's K% is incredibly impressive.

Machado. Younger and has more speed on the bases. Both are awesome, though

Both are awesome in the field AND at the plate, and have many seasons ahead for them.

Now if only Cowart by some small miracle could be anywhere nears them in success level.

Well all American Leaguer power hitters are future DH. Yes his arm is erratic but he is a great third baseman. He gets to so many balls the average third baseman doesn't get to.

Ok he gets to 30 more balls than the average third baseman and he throws half of those away, he still created 15 more outs.

Question is, do they keep Arenado in Colorado? They've got Ryan McMahon coming up behind him, who's got just about as good of a glove, and is pretty good with a bat in his hand too. Could we get one of them? That would be nice.
