Okay, so I was thinking right along with you when you posted this but I'm watching the Tampa feed and they just finished saying that if Ramirez had enough innings to qualify he would rank third in MLB for swing percentage.  According to them everyone knows he pounds the zone and people swing and swing often.

If only the Angels were as successful at actually HITTING him like everyone else.   He owns them.

Weird stat, given the 18 BBs in just 49 innings before tonight

How is the Tampa Bay feed? I only ever watch the Angels feed, except when the Angels play the Royals or the White Sox.

Really really good.   Staats is a bit of a homer but they do give you a lot of really great information.  They use a lot more of the new info teams are getting this year, for instance, yesterday they said that Pujols has had the highest exit velocity overall of anyone the Rays have faced this season.   Brian Anderson is really good at giving you info right before it happens as opposed to afterwards.  Another thing I've noticed is they will routinely show the opposing player's steals and attempts when they are on base in the form of a graphic, without actually mentioning it.

I love Victor, but I do enjoy the amount of statcast info the Rays telecast offers so, I've been watching the TB feed.

What did he do? I'm at work, and don't have the video feed.

2nd and 3rd 2 out. Ground ball to 3rd. He gets in a pickle with the runner advancing from 2nd to 3rd. Allowing the runner from 3rd to score before the out is made

Instead of just throwing the all to first for out #3 and keeping the score at 1-0.

Then. He's up laces a single. Aybar gets a hit. KUBITZA stumbles round 2nd getting hosed at 3rd for out #2.

An eventful first game for him.
