So ive been talking all year about Trout needing lineup protection, even before spring training ive been on record saying Calhoun should hit behind Trout so pitchers would pay for walking him.  Today Calhoun hits behind Trout for the first time and sure enough, Trout comes up in a one run game, 2 in scoring position and he gets intentionally walked.  And what does Calhoun do?  He makes them pay.

I get that, we've been dealing with it for over a decade so it is what it is. The only time I'll continue to gripe about it is when he calls for a bunt that effectively just takes the bat out of Trout's hands. That will never make any sense to me. Best player in baseball and....you allow the other team to not have to face him
