This ties into original post, in an indirect way. Chris Hedges was educated and grew up with the elite. Try and stick it out for 5 minutes and see if he interests you. I've been implying that this country is in big trouble since 2008. It is. Although Hedges doesn't say it directly, It has now become just about factual to me that the dow is rigged, the precious metals are rigged and the American economy will crash. This man speaks generally but we have to ask questions beyond the criminal financial institutions such as why does the Serco Corp (not an American co.) run more airport towers in the USA then anyone else and control all the US visas, something the government should at least oversee. Why does Nortel (not an American co.) run the DOJ networks with no govt. oversight. That's just the tip of the iceberg; there's just so much more and it's so corrupt. I'm sick of it.

It is said that this is just an exercise. Regardless, IMO it's wrong and from a citizen standpoint should never happen unless we are being attacked by another country. Just to be clear though.  If it's just an excercise.  It's not uncommon.  The Marines about 2 times a year do serious maneuvers in LA.  I think they frequently invade the old Marineland property in Palos Verdes as a training excercise.  But I remember I think last year, that there was a news bulletin/warning, about an evening air/ground assault maneuver they were going to do in downtown LA.  Personally, I thought it was more neat than anything else.  Didn't think there were any ulterior motives behind it outside of a training excercise in a real world urban area.

I stayed at the old Marine Land property last weekend. It's not the type of place the Marines would invade. Not without a lot of complaints anyway.

Alex Jones is fear porn 100%. However, for me I don't like the military practicing anything within the city amongst the population and Jade Helm is supposedly going to be much larger than previous operations. J Helm 15 covering sections across the southwest looks huge. It gives the impression Military presence at home is growing. The government had to know much of the public would be uncomfortable with this.  Hopefully all the areas will be briefed properly.

When I worked night shift at a prison at Indian Springs, my route to work took me past the Nellis Test Range, which was on the other side of US 95. We would often see parachute flares and tracer fire and hear planes overhead. After hearing repeated roaring one night I went out behind the infirmary. A-10s passing overhead at probably 200 feet or so looping back for another run at the target.

One of the benefits after I went to day shift was occasional free shows by the Thunderbirds.

Remember a couple Halloweens ago when they had a military drill in which men and women wearing normal clothes, football jerseys, etc were gunned down? The military did it on Halloween and said that the ordinary citizen looking targets were actually "zombies" and the multi-million dollar training was actually a Halloween prank/party.

I did a quick search and found articles about the Military training for a "Zombie apocalypse" in 2012. Here's one. The articles I saw were reporting the drill was to take place but I didn't see any shootings as a result. It was apparently a real drill yet sounds so ridicules. The Zombie apocalypse could be code for dissidents or angry citizens, who knows. The Federal government has known for some time that more Americans are informed and see through much of the lies and corruption. They have plans to quash any little uprising here or there. Any government would, I guess.
