Deer caught boxing each other on Texas homeowner's security camera

A Texas resident caught an unusual sight on her home security cameras when two deer wandered onto her property at the same time. Apparently, the animals weren’t on friendly terms as they both ended up standing on their hind legs boxing each other.

At the start of the footage, a lone deer can be seen eating from a feeder Miller left out for them.

Then, another deer approaches, prompting the two animals to stand up and start swinging their front legs at each other.

Abhimanyu Mishra is the world’s youngest chess grandmaster.

The 12-year-old chess prodigy from New Jersey broke the world record on June 30 when he won first place at the Vezérképző GM Mix 2021, a 10-round Swiss chess tournament that took place in Budapest, Hungary.

Three brothers lose their lives together working on family's property in Ohio

Three Ohio brothers, all in their 30s, have died after getting stuck in a manure pit on their farm, according to authorities

Gary Wuebker, 37; Brad Wuebker, 35, and Todd Wuebker, 31, died Tuesday after being unable to escape from the manure pit and passing out from the fumes, St. Henry Fire Chief Matt Lefeld told The Associated Press.

They were fixing a manure pump when they found themselves unable to get out of the pit, Lefeld said.

Florida mom shot and killed by toddler while on Zoom call

A Florida mom was shot dead by her toddler as coworkers watched in horror on a Zoom call, a report said.

Shamaya Lynn, 21, was on the conference call when suddenly a loud bang rang out and Lynn fell backward as a toddler stood in the background, Altamonte Springs Police said in a statement.

A person on the call phoned 911 when Lynn never returned to Zoom.

She was later found dead from a gunshot wound to the head, according to the statement.

"Investigators determined that the injury was caused by a toddler who found a loaded handgun, which was left unsecured by an adult in the apartment," the statement said.

 

Who would leave a gun laying around a child?

California mom saves son, 5, from mountain lion attack using her 'bare hands'

A Los Angeles-area woman fought off a 65-pound mountain lion that was attacking her 5-year-old son on Thursday using her bare hands, according to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. 

The animal attacked the boy while he was in his family's front yard in Calabasas, leaving him with injuries to his head, neck and chest, the department said Saturday. 

The mountain lion "dragged him about 45 yards" across the front lawn, said Capt. Patrick Foy, a spokesman for the department. 

The boy was in stable condition, recovering from the incident, according to the department. 

The boy’s mother heard the commotion from inside the house and ran outside and "started punching and striking the mountain lion with her bare hands and got him off her son," Foy said.
