Yeah, it's not like they're predicting the M's and A's to be that much better than last year, they're just betting on the Angels being that much worse.

 

I'd rather them be underdogs anyway.

 

The computer projections always have a low win projections. They have each of the three AL division winners at 86 wins.

I was coming here just to say "in before the butthurt" but we've already got a "ESPN HATES the Angels" (and if part of the statement is capitalized it must be true) so I'll just stick to "lol".

 

I know right, I mean expecting fans to act like fans.  How unreasonable.

ESPN, a subsidiary of Disney, is just bitter. Someone here once pointed out that Disney is probably super bitter about selling the Angels for pennies. Now they're one of the most valuable franchises in baseball. Both ESPN and Disney can eat shit.

Did anyone notice the actual AL West standings for this season were almost exactly reversed from what they picked? They got the Angels right, but their top two picks ended up as the bottom two, and of course the Rangers were first and the Astros second. The only thing that kept from perfectly reverse order was the A's finishing last instead of the Mariners.
