3-week old Long Beach girl's alleged killers arrested

Abducted, murdered, and dumped in a trash bin in San Diego.

A 47-yr old woman wanted a baby, so she put together a plan to abduct the infant and pass it off as her own.

Multiple family members were shot at the location and the infant was killed shortly after.

 

Gives new meaning to the word "evil".

I could live to be 100 and probably never see another prisoner executed in California. One of the men involved in the Bob's Big Boy massacre in 1980 (does anyone remember that one?) is still sitting on Death Row waiting for an execution date, 33 years after his sentencing.

 

It's unbelievable, really. The killers of this baby will grow old in San Quentin and die of natural causes. The citizens have no say anymore in this state.

Youd be suprised the number of hard core killer types who commit additional killings in prison simply to go to desth row...they know theyll die naturally, but in better facilities.

Glad this is finally over. RIP to that poor kid and family. One of my real close buddies had been on that case around the clock from the , glad all the hard work paid off and they got their guy

I saw last week the videos (there are videos everywhere) of the car stalking the bus this young woman was on.  Then following her as she got off the bus.  Creepy.

December 14, 1980. Closing time at Bob's Big Boy on La Cienega Blvd. Nine employees and two customers were herded into a walk-in refrigerator and two men opened fire on them with shotguns. Four were killed and four seriously injured. Ricky Sanders was sentenced to death in 1982 and is still there in San Quentin, no closer today to an execution date than he was 33 years ago. It's an unbelievable scandal.

 

As for the murder of this baby, the 'woman' who engineered the whole thing in Long Beach tried to abduct a four-month old baby boy in El Segundo a month later. Her boyfriend (suspect McCall) beat a young mother severely with a baseball bat but fled when police arrived. The baby was safe and the mother provided clues to police to help break the Long Beach case.

Back in 1985 I knew a guy named Gamal that was a retired sergeant in the Egyptian Task Force777. One day he is excited as can be because one of his ex military friends was involved in an armed holdup and it didn't end up like Bob's Big Boy. 

 

It happened at the Jack in the Box on Highland late at night, a woman came in and held him up at gunpoint threatening to kill him. Training took over and he not only disarmed her but locked them in the fridge until the police arrived.

 

The LA TImes story does not include the condition the LAPD received their prisoner in. When they unlocked the fridge she was on the floor with broken bones including an arm, several ribs and a dislocated knee. They took their time calling for paramedics while leaving her on the cold floor.
