There HAS to be another deal in the works for an outfielder. I know the front office wasn't fond of Saunders and all ... but Happ stinks.

we've already given up a draft pick for cruz.  might as well keep going and try to make the team as complete as possible. 

 

i'm still in shock that the FO went over $100 million in payroll.  3rd time ever as far as I can tell.

odd deal.  Saunders seems to have more value here although happ might benefit from being in Seattle.  Fly ball pitcher.  

Saunders could benefit from being out of that park as well.  Not sure if the M's are going to get much better at a corner OF spot without giving up a good young pitcher.

J.A. Happ - was he the guy who came up with or spent some time in the Phillies rotation?......was a pretty decent rotation guy at one point......has kinda bounced around a bit since then.

Yeah, I remember Happ was the next big thing in the Phillies org and was the center piece on the Halladay deal.

 

I don't really pay attention to numbers of other teams, but don't think he has been what was expected of him.
