Also, Trout is one of only 2-3 players in history (he could be the only one, I can't recall) to finish in the top 2 in MVP voting in each of his first 3 major league seasons.

Altuve was the worst defensive 2B in baseball by many metrics. That was the only thing stopping him from a top 5 finish IMO.

I still feel like the MVP voting is a joke. Just because they got it right this year doesn't make up for the snubs.

Although, all of the awards this year didn't turn out bad. I can't really argue about any of the results. Maybe Kershaw, because I don't completely like a pitcher winning MVP, but if any pitcher deserves it, it's Kershaw.
