If the Yankees had anything worthwhile to trade from their minors they should keep them simply because they have nothing in the majors on a team that aged out but still is drawing salaries.

 

They have exactly one guy in the everyday lineup under the age of 30, Yangervis Solarte. Oh wait, they don't, they traded him to the Padres for Chase Headley that is now a free agent.

 

So who knows what Cashman will do, he doesn't seem to ever look at rebuilding nor restocking the farm.

Agree with Chuck, but even the Skanks aren't dumb enough to trade a great commodity like Severino.

They are an emerging mess, and unless they strike gold in FA, will be one for several years just like 1965-1974 and 1982-1993.

As a guy who writes scouting reports on young players I'd think you'd see more than just raw ERA as a good stat to judge a player. You know who else had an ERA of around 4.6 in the minors? Shoemaker.

Another offseason and more Kendrick rumors - you know we don't have to trade him - how bout we keep the solid good homegrown player unless it's a really good deal . I fear he will get traded for crap just because for some reason we are supposed to trade him
