At the risk of being accused of starting a MS circle jerk, his OGAAT mantra and boring always the same approach goes a long ways towards keeping the team on an even keel.  I was really happy to see a lot of the players all commenting how it's early still and there is no reason to celebrate yet after Sunday's game.

Yep....and it applies after tough losses too, not just a blowout....probably somebody with stats can disprove it but, historically, there seems to be a pattern...

I was at the clincher Sunday; it was great to see the loud-mouth A'ss fans leaving early!  The sweep was key to give us a chance to win the Division.

 

That said, I don't think this thing is near over yet.  We're down 4-0 to the Astros right now, and Oakland has a history of making runs.  Watching the series, it is obvious to everybody just how much they will miss Cespedes.
