Thanks for the statistics, Claude.  It is interesting to note that while the Angels are last or 15th, Oakland is  tenth so they are very subpar since the ASB also.

That is dire.  20 HR in 33 games, an average of 3.4 runs per game...wow.  

 

This team is seriously bipolar.  In the first half the bullpen was the problem and the offense was nails.  Now the offense blows and the bullpen is solid.  It's amazing that we're still in the race.

I would like to understand Scosh's usage of sub par offensive players like Ibanez (gone now), McDonald, Boesch and now Beckham.

What do you want to know? Ibanez is a veteran and he gave him less than 200 at bats, not a big deal. McDonald is a back up infielder and has received back up infielder at bats. Boesch was tearing it up in the minors and was brought up to give the offense a spark when it was struggling. He didn't hit over the course of a week or so and was sent down. Now we have Beckham who is there to give guys days off, that's what he's doing. I'm glad I can clear that up for you.
