Josh Hamilton took one-handed swings on the field today. He said he expects to be back in the majors the weekend of May 23-25

Can't remember the last update we had on Calhoun? I would have expected him back sooner than Hamilton.

Looking forward to his return to the lineup.  Even if he doesn't come back in MVP form, he and Calhoun will at least cover the production of Cowgill and Shuck... and they are more likely to sustain it (in Cowgill's case).

#Angels LF Josh Hamilton will begin 3-game rehab stint with triple-A Salt Lake on Friday. Should rejoin Halos Monday in Seattle.
