It's simple things like that that ballplayers can do each day to make fans for life. Not only will Jerome suddenly become that kid's favorite baseball player, that kid, when he grows up will get his children into the game as well, all because one ballplayer took 3 minutes out of his day. Unfortunately, though, the kid is going to know the pain that comes with being a fan of the Astro's, but at least he'll be a baseball fan.
