Because when people say they are glad their mom thought they were a person during pregnancy it doesn't mean anything. A woman is perfectly capable of not believing a 2 month old fetus to be a human and yet still have no desire to end the pregnancy. Happens all the time. On the flipside, a woman can completely think she has a human in her womb and not care one bit if it dies. His mom thinking he was a person wasn't what allowed him to be born. The fact that she wanted him was. It didn't matter whether she thought he was a person or not.

That's irrelevant. Saying that you are grateful your mom thought you were a person while she carried you is dumb. It has nothing to do with why she kept you. There are plenty of aborted babies whose mom's knew they were persons. And they're still dead.

My mom considered me a stomach ache for the first month or so. That explains why the first time I ever went to both Malarky's and Angel Stadium in one day was in the womb.
