At the 66ers game and holy shit did RJ Alvarez blow up.

Quakes squared everything up and got to him for 3 runs in the 9th.

And it ends up okay anyway, thanks to a game tying single by Stamets scoring Angel Rosa on a really close play and then Yarbrough brings in Stamets with a single of his own to walk it off

My guess, Kendrick is dealt to the Dodgers for Zach Lee.  

The Dodgers will probably go big dollars for Cano.

Bees vs Aaron Harang today. Hopefully the success of the Angels against him filter down to the Bees

I think that Kendrick will make an extremely attractive trade option for whichever team loses out on Cano.  If the Yanks lose him, they'd love to get their hands on Kendrick, who would no longer torch them and would definitely benefit from hitting in that park as well as Rogers Centre and Fenway.  If the Dodgers lose out on Cano, Kendrick's already comfortable in So-Cal and would likely fit in well with Mattingly's scheme and personality.

Hopefully they get outbid by the Yankees causing them to get desperate and give up Zach Lee and Chris Reed.

Bees just finish off Las Vegas, 4-3.  All four games decided by 1 run.  Pretty good pitching and some timely hitting.  Off to Omaha on Tuesday to start the PCL championship.  Good Luck to the Bees!

After dropping the first game, 66ers up 5-0 over Lancaster in the 3rd inning of Game 2.

 

2nd inning sac fly by Abel Baker, 3rd inning sac fly by Yarbrough, followed by a 2 run shot by Borenstein and then a solo shot by Snyder.

98 pitches thrown according to Gameday, so it will be interesting to see if they give him a shot at completing the 1-0 shutout considering how hard the bullpen worked last night/early this morning.
