In July through September, yes.    Not in October

God, you have no memory of some yearly events. Every October in California there is an end of summer, start of fall burn off. On the east coast there are rainstorms and 40 degree weather if there is any World Series games.

Fires and warmer than normal weather, yes.   But not record setting heat that beckons August.

This is a no doubter being better than 40 degree weather.   Just would like to see 80s degree weather vs 100s degree.

October 9th - 11th of 2015 we had 100 degree heat. That's only 2 years ago AO. It's common.

In fairness to AO, these are records we're setting right now for late October. But yes, this sort of heat is not unprecedented.

Last year there were two separate weeks that temperature in Los Angeles hit the mid 90's for four days straight in October. That wasn't even the hotter regions, in San Dimas it was the high 90's.

If AO would keep track of weather trends as closely as he does Long Beach State past basketball scores he wouldn't have anything to complain about.

It was 86 this morning at 6 am in Costa Mesa. That's the hottest I can remember it in 32 years of living in this area. Summertime or otherwise.

Same for Tustin, didn't get below 80 last night until the wee hours of the morning.   Did the DeLorean suddenly transport me to Phoenix?

In Los Angeles, Oct 4, 5, 6 in 1971 it was 101, 102, and 98.  Oct 14, 15 in 1961 it was 103 and 102.  Oct 16, 17 1958 it was 104 and 102.  Todays hot weather should break the record of 99 set in 1909.  AO likes to scream global warming.  But for October, it looks like these last two days and probably tomorrow will be the first time in the 2000's that we will break a record high in Los Angeles.

The delorean transports people between times, not places.  Although if you have an actual delorean, it would, I suppose, transport you between places.

If this was true he wouldn't have needed to sell all that coke

I'm enjoying my weather here which is much cooler than it is in AO's backyard
