Yep.  Don't think Cano will reach the market actually.  Kind of like when Arod and CC opted out.  They have almost no offense as it is. 

 

Lyle Overbay is second on the team in Hrs with 13, Hafner with 12, with Vernon and Soriano tied for 11.

With AROD out for next year and Grandy moving on, they have Gardner, as their only everyday play who is decent.  Jeter might put up a 90-100 ops+.  Nunez is not a good baseball player.  Tex will be below average. 

 

Soriano might be their best player next year if Cano doesn't return.

 

I could see Cano actually not wanting to come back to the Yankees with what limited talent they have.

 

I would love it if Kuroda and Pettitte retire. 

 

The only thing positive for them is all the money freed up.
