If someone would pay their salaries, in a heartbeat.  This team would in an instant get younger, and we can throw all that money we saved at Trout.

Based on results on the field of play, I'd say Texas seems to have a smart organization.

 

Texas didn't want Hamilton at less salary than he's paid now.

Hamilton has quit hitting (at least like a $25 million dollar/year player) and Pujols' 30 is what's known in the stock market as a dead cat bounce.

Then they would still have a Trout, Bourjos, Calhoun OF with Trumbo or Cron DHing and the other playing 1B.

So much money freed up, better OF defense, only seeing a decline defensively at 1B
