Zero faith in Kohn? He's been one of our best, lol.

Glad you're not building the pen.

He seems to always allow inherited runners to score which is not a good thing. He's way to inconsistent but I get it that there are no ther options. Watch what happens when they put him in a tight game.

He's allowed 15% of inherited runners to score, tied with Frieri for best on the team.

So, no.

Whip is a bit high.  1.26.  But wouldn't be bad to call him up after the AS break.  See if he looks good and maybe someone will have interest in him.

... uh - yeah... the Angels will be on that list of teams that "will have interest in him" if he looks good...

We need an extra reliable enough guy in the pen after the ASB, what with the 32 games in 33 days to play.

Frieri, Jepsen, Downs, DDLR, and Kohn can't handle that expected workload alone.

Cordero and maybe Coello's return by late Julyearly August would be just what the team needs.

I give up on Madson and Burnett.

I guess he also missed the game where he struck out the heart of their order (including Cabrera) in Detroit in a tough situation.  That was one of the relief highlights of the year for me.

Absolutely would love to see this guy get promoted.  His stuff is finally beginning to look as it did earlier in his career when he was a Major League quality closer.  3.86 ERA is quite an accomplishment in the PCL.

Agreed.

PCL is brutal for pitchers.
