OHoppe can’t play every day.  I get it.  But Thaiss is hard for me to watch.  I actually like that he seems to be a scrapper, but I don’t like his game offensively or defensively.

It seems like the Angels might have trouble covering innings in today’s game.

Cisnero, Strickland, and Suarez are all probably unavailable.

That leaves Estévez, Moore, Cimber, García, and Fulmer. While Soriano is on a ~60 pitch limit.

I don't think it's an issue unless Soriano gets knocked out in the 2nd or 3rd inning.  Otherwise, that's 5 guys to cover innings, with an off-day tomorrow.  Not ideal, but workable.

They can cover it, but I don’t know if they can effectively cover it.

If you have to use García or Fulmer to hold a lead as a bridge to the back 3, that’s a little suspect.

Tampa in same boat. Soriano goes 6 inn today and halos hit 5 HR.

I don't care about offense from the backup catcher...it's the defense, and Thaiss falls well short in that area. Need a better option there IMO

I think Moniak and Adell should be swapped in the lineup. The more at bats Adell gets the better.

Hope Sano has a chip on his shoulder today after watching strike 3 to end the game just 16 hours ago.

Feel like this one is really going to depend on how Soriano starts, would be nice if he got through 3 or 4 innings unscathed.

Wonder if they would let Soriano pitch Monday and move Sandoval to Tuesday next week.

That would solve the issue of two soft tossing LHPs going back to back.
