— Trout and Rendon are expected to be healthy and with the team in ST.

We are supposed to believe this?

I hope that they are both healthy, but have tempered myself that they might not be

I don't doubt they'll be ok at the beginning of spring training. I just have doubts about the rest of season.

Being healthy in spring training isn’t usually an issue for them.  Of course I’m sure Rendon could explore new frontiers in being useless.  He should see if he can manage to get himself suspended by the 3rd spring training game.  Maybe somehow manage to injure his hand pressing the spin button at the Indian casino.  Lots of possibilities.

Dislocated wrist changing his tampon.

I would really like to see Tori Hunter as manager with young players.

I think it’ll be a vet manager with one of the former Angel players as bench coach, provided the Angels are still in win-now mode.

If there’s uncertainty in the long-term, perhaps due to Arte maybe selling or Perry not being a given after ‘24, I think it’ll be one of the former Halos in a stopgap learn-on-the-job gig.

I loved him as a player, but I don't want to watch him make rookie manager mistakes at the MLB level.

If he's serious he should manage in AA and then get a MLB bench job IMO.

With Buck you just get a recycled manager. Tori has been around majors for many years playing under Tom Kelly and Scioscia. I think he could relate to younger players.

Could see him being a good base coach who works with the outfielders too.

Lots of players have played under good managers. That doesn't really mean anything.

Relating to younger players is not the most important quality of a MLB manager.

This is a TV or radio job we're talking about. You cannot just throw a fan favorite former player in the booth.
