I mean, maybe?  But I can't imagine something like that would really impact the Braves all that much, given how good and deep their lineup is.

It doesn't seal the deal or anything, and I'm sure there's some truth to Canning being sore (or just them deciding to flip things around) but the Angels are probably looking for any slight competitive advantage they can get, and this can't hurt. Rolling with a SP who doesn't have a ton of advance scouting and who has been evolving from start-to-start could help the Angels for a time or two through order.

Are they rolling with Rengifo as the leadoff hitter from here on out? Because Neto has been so in and out and they want a consistent leadoff hitter?

I think Renfroe got moved up a little too high in the order based on decent production in one series.
