I just hope Taylor Ward recovers and can see again. That injury reminds me of what happened to Tony Conigliaro all those years ago.

Exactly, I also remember that injury.  Eye injuries can be career changing.

After Ken Tatum accidentally beaned Paul Blair, Tatum was never the same. Blair recovered, but wasn’t the same player.

Ohtani has hit 11 and throws a ton of wild pitches. Doesn't mean he, or anyone else with control issues, should be hated, yelled at, etc. Manoah looked devastated.

Hope so, too. Really getting worried since there hasn't been any update at all, other than that he was at the hospital.

The organization is always very hush-hush. He's alive at least, but that could be it as far as updates go.

The longer we await news, the more I worry about the gravity of the injury. 

That could be anxiety speaking but you’d think if it was a simple broken nose or if he was okay they’d say as much sooner.

Really praying he’s going to be okay and nothing that happened will be career or life altering for him

Facial fractures but no damage to the eyesight, released from the hospital, good news

Now, just get well with ST 2024 as the goal.
