Maybe there's hope for this team. There certainly has been an uptick in excitement.

For me it was uplifting to see a home town girl come back and cheer her team on. Thanks, Gwen, for one night, you pulled back the clouds and let the sun in.

Sometimes you have to forget about the big picture and try to enjoy each game as a chunk of entertainment time. Tonight I think there was enough drama and excitement to make it an enjoyable three hours plus. A much needed change from yesterday.

Ohtani's batting is not good. He has been trying too hard to hit for the cycle, which has led to a lot of failed attempts. He needs to focus on hitting the ball hard and putting it in play, and the hits will come.
