I’m assuming you meant “aren’t” instead of “are.”

The reason is Arte’s cheap, doesn’t think it makes sense economically, and doesn’t think it makes a difference in quality.

Why are the Angels so attached to the “be aggressive on the first pitch” approach when they’re 20th in wOBA on 0-0 counts?

They aren’t finding success with that approach, and all it does is allow quick innings for the opposition and prevent them from getting deep into the opposing team’s bullpen.
