Can't win when you have to play against the umpires as well as the other team. When it rains it pours. All that resting and saving of players and you still end up with players injured and underperforming.

They've wanted that for Trout for at least the last 5 years. It wasn't just Angels' fans that were thrilled that Arte was going to sell the team.

I mean what was new ownership going to do? 
 

trade Ohtani and go into full rebuild? We would have all been pretty upset with that before the season started. Even as soon as two weeks ago we seemed like a legit playoff threat. 
 

everything went wrong at once and that’s just been Angels baseball for the past 10 years.
