Low point!

A few years ago the team was doing well.

Then there was a rainout in Kansas City...we were dogshit after.

Anyone remember the year?

I don't like KC..good BQ tho!

Idk feels like it could be any season since 2010. The last time the organization felt whole was that pitch before Brian Fuentes gave up that homer to A-Rod just out of the reach of Abreu in the 09 ALDS, we had just taken the lead in the 11th. 0-2 pitch right out over the plate.

Why?

What can nevin possibly do different or anyone else with the crap that’s available to him?

For starters, how about not putting in pitchers just called up from the minors with ERAs over 5  and walks greater than 5 per 9 innings in close games before they proved themselves. How about putting up the take sign when the count is 3-0 because there is less than a 5% chance of a HR. How about insisting that players try to hit to right side with a man on 2B and no outs. How about having the . hitter try to hit to the right side with a runner on 1B being held on and the 2Bman playing close to the bag on 2nd. How about faster runners trying to steal more to get in scoring position instead of the OMG attitude that if they get caught, there goes the 2 run homer (which is what, a 5-10% chance)

Reminds me of a spring training lineup. What can you say when Velazquez and Wallach are your last two ninth inning batters?

Do umps ever get demoted/fired/fined or suffer any consequence for affecting important moments in games with obvious bad calls? Game in, game out obvious mistakes are made. Not just borderline pitches.

At least that's the end of those annoying, smug Padre broadcasters. You'd think they have a pennant winner going.

Lowest point in the season, and the Dodgers next before a break to lick their wounds.

So you’re saying the players have to show up as well

I agree
