If anyone is claiming that this injury is his fault, their and idiot. But because Rendon can't seem to go more than a month without getting injured, unfortunately this injury gets lost in the noise of his tendency to get injured. It all blends together. So of course people are pissed.

That would be pretty dependent on the makeup of the team but in watching him this year he’s pretty solid and comfortable at 2nd

I blame the front office for continuing to make same mistake and signing vets to long contracts. Fluke HBP notwithstanding it seems Rendon's body is breaking down which isn't out of the ordinary for a guy his age with lots of games under his belt. I'm sure he wants to play and he's been a professional about it unlike Pujols.

I didn't blame the injury on Rendon. 

My point was even when he was healthy he still sucks.

Upton turned out not great but he hit some dongs and produced in that first full year.  Good club house guy it seemed like.  So I don’t really put him into the S tier disasters.  Standard disaster.  Upton is a typical contract. 

Upton was great his forst year. And I was one of his biggest fans. Really wanted him years before they got him.

But after that first year they gave him the big extension... and he completely collapsed. It was just masked by Trout getting hurt, Pujols sucking and covid. 

I always liked him. Young Upton was a beast. But those last few years were ugly as hell.

Don't forget Upton stubbed his toe and he was also called weak during his recovery.

Utpon got criticized for looking like he didn't care. Rendon gets some of that.

And a certain Canadian kept calling Upton "Melvin."
