My English teacher in my 5th year of HS told me to take English in summer school. I did not do that as it would interfere with my career at Taco Bell.

When's the last time this team seemed to play with any fire? The 2002 team certainly wasn't the most talented team that year, but they played every game like it was a must win. Of course, they had a bunch of professionals mixed with hard asses. There's no fire here. I haven't really felt it since they let Torii go. That guy wanted to win, and let his teammates who were just going through the motions know that wasn't acceptable.

The wind was sucked out of my sails when I learned Arte was keeping the team.

Most of my tempered optimism disappeared with that knowledge.
