When cheerleaders like Stradling and Swordsman want to rah, rah and wag their fingers at those that know this team is underperforming, it seems all so silly to even engage with them.

This team is actually worse than last year and we haven't even talked about defense or the bullpen. So unless these guy don't get their shit together and play at MLB average, there are no 42 game swings to determine the season.

If this season was an individual game, it is top of the second and no score.

I am fine watching quite a bit more before I start really assessing.

Fair enough and I agree.

With that said I just took a look at the AL standings and it's brutal.

A lot of good teams in the AL and I'm not even counting Texas..yet!

The Angels are going to have to be a helluva lot better than mediocre to have a chance in hell to make the playoffs and sooner rather than later.
