Here’s some perspective.  The Astros just went through a stretch of games with a difficulty about on par with what the Angels have ahead of them.  They went 11-5.  We should’ve built up a good lead on them during this period and we didn’t.

Debbie downer for me for sure.

The Astros are a much better team than the Angels. It is what it is

It is a drag and the Astros are a better team, but the Astros have also had the last three Thursdays off.

Agreed.

Expecting to sweep Oakland and KC because they aren't good is hopeful, but probably not realistic. The frustrating part is we cam so close to doing it.

Those games, the first game in Oakland, the Toronto- Easter game etc are going to bite us in the ass.

Perspective.

We just went 1-2 against the Brewers. It sucks because we lost another series, obviously.

That said, the Brewers are hot, and were at home. And we had the back of the rotation for the weekend.

For Perspective, put yourself in brewerswin dot coms shoes. They had a nail biter game on Friday, against a pitcher who had been struggling. They had a laugher yesterday.... only to watch it almost go up in smoke. And then lost today against a pitcher who was close to being released. Plus a dinger to Lamb.

Team still needs work. The pen needs help, pitchers need to go deeper. And the offense needs to stop the feast or famine routine.

But this is a still a better team than they've shown so far.

Trout will go crazy again at some point. Rendon (should) wake up. Ward likely does, too. At least to being average.

5 more months. Let's go.
