Matt Thaiss has been the recipient behind the dish of 16 runs allowed across 14 innings caught from Suarez, Barria and Anderson thus far in 2023.

Contrast to Logan O'Hoppe who has caught 53 innings of Angels pitchers that have allowed just 13 runs to date.

Interesting but let him catch Ohtani or Sandy and see if he’s the problem. Either way I think he should be gone when Stassi gets back and they should go with Stassi and O’Hoppe.  It looks like Thaiss just can’t hit big league pitching.

Yes, but we can't overwork the rookie. Everyone here will tell you that. Of course I don't agree.
