He got a no-decision ended in a draw  (2-2) to the Dragons (July 1 JST).

On July 6th (Japan time), the game was broadcast both on a local TV program (TV Kanagawa) and via satellite.  I'm not a BayStars fan, but I watched Bauer's pitch on TV by chance.  I got the impression that he is the type of skillful pitcher with good control.

He had complete game, got 6th win.
9 IP, 128 NP, 4 H, 0 HR, 7 K, 3 BB, 2 ER

He got three strikeouts in a row in the sixth inning.

The NPB All-Star Game was held twice on July 19th and 20th (JST).
On July 19, Bower stood within a third base coach's box in the 4th inning. He was also invited as a special guest in the televised announcement room.

 

On July 20, Bower pitched in the 4th inning with only two days rest. He taught the batters in advance all of his pitch types with gestures. Afterward, he was interviewed.　"It's kind of me. Good be here. It's fun. It's fun. The mound is good...(omitted below. I didn't watch the TV broadcast seriously, so it may be inaccurate.)."
