Is anyone thinking of going to some of the games?  I'm tempted to go to some of our initial round robin play, which will be in Phoenix.  Has anyone gone to any past WBC games?

I went years ago when Team USA played Mexico at Angels Stadium.  Place was packed and it was pretty cool.

This was before the big names would play, so it was mostly minor leaguers and college guys.

It was still fun.

Went to the USA DR game in 2017 at petco park (the Adam jones catch game). Atmosphere was great, I imagine it’s a similar feeling to playoff baseball

I went to a U.S./Korea game at Angel Stadium the first year they did the WBC.

Yes.  Except better.  Average wise, that is.  Production wise…..about the same

if i'm in tempe for spring training next march, i might try to catch a game or two of the WBC in phoenix if the timing works out.
