Both Salmon and GA made comments post game last night about Duffy and Velasquez making first pitch outs in the 9th and not working the count a bit. They just suck

The problem isnt AV and MD making first pitch outs, its that they were even in those spots.
when youre down to counting on cast offs and guys that shouldn't be ML starters to get the job done, youre setting yourself up for disappointment.
Our roster was incomplete and poorly constructed, as usual, to fit in the budget.

Let’s throw Rengifo in there also.  He saw about 6 pitches total in the game, including a first pitch pop up in the 8th.

As long as they got good pitches to hit, I don't care if they worked the count.  It's not like Wacha was going to walk them.

D’oh! I just saw on MLB TV that no team has ever made the post season after losing 12 games in a row during the season. Better luck next year
