IL RE: Italian prison crime drama. Binge-watched season 1 this week - it was pretty good, gripping enough for binge-watching, but it was somewhat let-down by its finale, which was a little too contrived in a couple of places in the final episode even though it did end in an interesting place. Even with the final episode grumbles, and they are only grumbles, I'll be looking out for season 2.

Just saw Jurassic World: Dominion. I figured that I would get tired of it about 30 minutes in, but I watched the whole thing. Special effects are amazing.

The fx were the only thing that kept me interested. For me, it seemed like a recycled story.

Starting out slow and picking up the pace like S2

This is bloody brilliant. Italian crime drama set in Naples around the Savastano crime family. Lots of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat, it's extremely well written, acted, and produced. Top TV without a doubt. Highly recommended for any crime genre fans. Just binged season 1 in 48 hours, now on to Season 2 and I can't wait to see what happens next. 9/10 for Season 1.

HBO:  Westworld Season 4  Finally got around to this.  And it didn't disappoint.  I think I'm going to binge the whole thing again, to get the whole story fresh in my mind.  But definitely worth the watch.

I finished watching this short series - 3S with 5E in each one. two thumbs up.

it started off rather predictable about having the first female constable in a local town police force and all the associated difficulties of her co-workers accepting her. she finds her way, however, and things turn out predictably.

S2 and S3 had better story arcs that made for better seasons. the one thing i didn't like was that main character unexpectedly left after S2 (jenny jacques) and was replaced by a new female constable.

all in all it was a good series.
