He knows the player.  Decide where you want to hit Trout and move on.

You experiment with Ward batting 5th or 7th.  You don’t experiment with Mike Trout.

Trout leadoff against LHP and Ohtani leadoff against RHP makes sense. Just glad they aren't having Fletcher anywhere near the leadoff spot

Sucks but not too surprising after all the elbow/shoulder issues he dealt with last season. Felt like it was finally the sign that his body was breaking down after he had been adding velo as he continued to get older

Yeah, Detmers is looking good!  Really hope he gets the 6th spot in the rotation.
