Between this and the NL adding the DH, Ohtani could get quite a few more plate appearances this season.  60 or so?

Ohtani had 11 plate appearances in NL parks last year.   At last year's PA per game rate, that'll go up to 43.   If he starts 25 games, I'd imagine this rule will get him about 10 more  plate appearances.   A better lineup around him should get him more plate appearances.    I've read every 50 runs a team scores gets a player 5-7 plate appearances.    Angels should easily score 50 more runs, possibly a lot more.  Give him 10 more plate appearances.    Now we're at +52

Lorenzen has a .710 career OPS.  84 OPS+

Angels cant be trusted to do it themselves so MLB stepping in and doing their damndest to get the Angels into the postseason. They gotta showcase Trout/Ohtani in the playoffs by any means necessary. Gotta love it
