It's not even the farm that gets wrecked at this point, it's the MLB roster that would be impacted.  Instead of two guys in their early 20s with breakout potential they are wishing on, it's relying on two guys 30 or over with a recent history and potential future risk of breaking down.

The Twins obviously felt comfortable making that deal.  I wouldn't have liked to offered Bachman for Gray.
