Does anyone know the reasoning behind the lineups, that is, why all the stars seem to be one one, like yesterday's, and then the C lineup on other days?

Normally has always been like that.

The stars rarely play the away games in spring training.

That's what always makes it hard to plan which games to attend. You never know when you're going to get the "Courtesy Invite Special" lineup. The bright spot is these type of lineups usually include some of the younglings, like Jackson and Adams. I've learned the whenever there's a split squad, go to the home game.

The early-season spring training games are generally at 12:05/12:10, so I haven't been listing the time unless it's different from that (there was a 5:05PST game a couple days ago and I noted that).  In the middle of spring training, times are a little more irregular (e.g., some at noon, some at 1pm, some in the evening, etc.), so I'll note those if I'm the one who's starting these threads then.  But every game from now through March 13 starts at 12:05/12:10.
